Sarah is extremely passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness goals while living a balanced lifestyle. She has experience working with a variety of individuals and specializes in fat loss, injury prevention, hypertrophy, functional exercise, senior fitness, special needs, post-pregnancy, and nutrition. Sarah has an extensive background in Exercise Science thanks to the program at Kennesaw State University, her 10 years of coaching experience, and her certifications:

Sarah has studied under a well-respected holistic physician, where she gained valuable knowledge on the positive effects of diet and exercise on various disorders and diseases. Having overcome several health issues herself, she believes that changing her lifestyle was one of the biggest contributors to her recovery and improved overall health. Sarah’s drive to show others that exercise is truly one of the best sources of medicine led her to open Empower Health & Fitness. Her goal is to help create a positive, life-changing impact for her clients, friends, family, and as many people as she can reach.

Outside the gym, Sarah loves spending time with Michael and their dogs, enjoying quiet weekends at church, and soaking up quality time with family and friends.
Michael is a certified personal trainer with 9 years of experience helping clients achieve their fitness goals. With a background in training people of all ages, from 12 to 93, he has the skills and expertise to design custom workout plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State University, where he gained a deep understanding of how the body responds to exercise and how to optimize workouts for maximum results. In addition to his formal education, he has also earned several certifications:

Michael especially enjoys working with golfers to help them move better, hit farther, and play pain-free through TPI training programs tailored to each player’s body and swing.

When he’s not coaching, you’ll likely find Michael hanging out with Sarah and their dogs, watching sports, spending Sundays at church, or dancing around the gym — don’t be surprised if you catch him showing off some moves between sets!
Together, Sarah and Michael believe in creating a supportive, fun, and motivating environment where clients feel like family — and they can’t wait to help you feel stronger, healthier, and more confident inside and out.
